Description

Contrary to the treaties and conventions, a body of one thousand Polish soldiers landed on the 6th inst. on the Westerplatte, where an ammunition depot of the Polish army is located. The High Commissioner of the League of Nations in Danzig asked the state of Danzig to protest against this breach of the treaty, but the protests have caused great uneasiness amongst the population of Danzig. As a result, the population is arming. Further violations of the free state territory from the Polish side are to be mobilised. The civil guard of the city is patrolling the streets of the city.
