Unprecedented scenes were witnessed in Berlin during the astonishing May Day celebrations which included day-long parades and demonstrations. Speeches were made throughout the day by Chancellor Hitler and President von Hindenburg. Thousands of brown-uniformed Nazis fought to hear their leader expound his policy for the future.
