PLA 643407 — New York Bureau Germany — This picture showing damaged buildings in Aachen, Rhineland city near the Dutch frontier, after a visit by the Royal Air Force, appeared in a recent issue of the “Berliner Illustrierte Zeitung” which was received in London. Pictures in the periodical showed damage only to civilian property. Credit Line (ACME) 4-1-42 (Passed by Censors) stamp: “REF. DEPT. 4-3 42 N.E.A.”; ACME Newspictures Inc.
